Bell Bottom Review

Firstly, Akshay Kumar plays hidden research and Analysis Wing (RAW) agent with the code name ‘Bell Bottom’. After a plane crash-landed in Amritsar, the seventh carjacking in five years, Kumar was brought in to save the day. The film focuses on his plans for a brave undercover operation to rescue 210 kidnappers and reduce the number of hackers. The fact that his work is linked to human tragedy makes it a major factor.

Like other Kumar films promoted by real events, this Ranjit Tiwari director is based on two events that took place in the late 70s and early 80s during the time of Indira Gandhi as Prime Minister of India. It is commendable that the movie was shot during a spate of acts in various parts of India and Scotland.

Akshay Kumar is in top form, as expected. He looks striking and offers a subtle yet powerful performance. Lara Dutta is the first to be included in the opening credits and is certainly one of the film’s strengths. His scenes are amazing and he gives himself as much as he can. Vaani Kapoor is popular in a small but important role. Huma Qureshi is good, but his character looks uncooked without a background story.

Zain Khan Durrani is as good as an opponent. Adil Hussain is the first, while Denzil Smith gets nowhere. Dolly Ahluwalia (Bell Bottom’s mother) is adorable. Mamik Singh (Aashu) is right.

Bell Bottom Movie Music info

Music doesn’t go well with the film. ‘Khair Maang De’ and ‘Marjaawaan’ look very good. ‘Sakhiyan 2.0’ is not in this film. ‘Dhoom Tara’ is like a theme song and enhances several scenes.

Daniel B George’s background rating is exciting and has a sense of harvest. Parvez Shaikh’s action is limited but effective. The production design of Amit Ray and Subrata Chakraborty reminds us of the past. Clothes are real. The ones worn by Vaani are adorable. VFX is completely satisfying even though a few scenes are not real. The arrangement of Chandan Arora is clean.

Conclusion

In conclusion, Bell Bottom is a hijacking game with a regular first half and a decent second half. Moreover, The whole first part is the construction of the main story only where things get blurred. If you stay with this boring part, the second half and Akshay Kumar’s sincere effort makes this film a passing moment this weekend.
