It is a series about a high school student named Clay Jensen, who receives a series of cassette tapes from a classmate, Hannah Baker, who reveals to Clay that she killed herself. In the series, Hannah explains that she is responsible for the accidental death of someone who was bullying her. She tells him that although she may have contributed to the suicide, she would still like to share why she chose to do it. She claims that the boy who was bullied, Tyler, is in a mental hospital and, therefore, no longer a danger to others. It is a compelling series that deals with the pain that young adults suffer.
