The Family Man Web Series Review: In Hindi cinema, you have seen many big stars playing the role of spy. These spies save the country, eliminate terrorists, speak applause-getting dialogues and whatever else they do makes one feel that they are not common people at all. But now a web series ‘The Family Man’ has been released on Amazon Prime Video in which the story of a spy is shown who does extraordinary work but is ordinary like ordinary people.
‘The Family Man’ is a spy action drama series with 10 episodes which keeps you engaged till the end. There is thrill, action, emotion and suspense in it.
It is clear from the name itself that this spy is also a family man. Like ordinary people, he is busy trying to buy a house, drops his children to school and even makes sandwiches when needed. Children feel that their father works in a government job because it is relaxing there. The wife is also angry that he is not able to give much time to the family. In the life of this spy, everything is happening which is happening around you every day.

Story
In this, Manoj Bajpayee has played the character of Spy Shrikant Tiwari. In this, Srikant comes to know that terrorists are going to carry out an attack bigger than 26/11. This is the story of how Srikanth will save the country from that attack. This story reaches Pakistan, Balochistan, Syria, Kashmir and Delhi via Mumbai.
Before this, viewers have seen ‘Breathe’ and ‘Mirzapur’ in Hindi on Amazon Prime. Both these series became very popular. The reason was that common people were kept as the target audience. From language to dialogues, everyday sayings were used. The focus has been kept on this in Family Man also. In this, it has been explained to the people in a very easy way how the Intelligence Agency works.
Along with Manoj Bajpayee, Priyamani plays the role of his wife Suchitra. Suchitra is a working mom. His story also continues along with Srikanth, which takes a very interesting turn later on. This series beautifully shows how important relationships are in this fast-paced life and how their dimensions change.

The directors of this series are Raj and DK (Raj Nidimoru and Krishna D.K.). Before this, this pair had made a film ‘Stree’ which was liked a lot. He has his own style of storytelling and this is what makes this series special. The story of the series is about the character of Manoj Bajpayee but in between many stories get added.
Along with direction, he has also written it with Suman Kumar and Sumit Arora. He has not written extensively on big issues. He has also killed PJ a lot through his characters like ‘Hamara Shree, Srinagar Ja Raha Hai Type’..,
Besides, he has given importance to every character along with the lead star cast.
There are some loopholes also. Apart from Srikanth, the scenes shown in Pakistan, Balochistan and Syria seem very light, but they can be ignored.
acting
Manoj Bajpayee is creating new dimensions in acting every day. In this, he plays his character with great ease and becomes a hero but not a film hero. No one could have done better than Shrikant Tiwari. Priyamani fits the role of Suchitra. His acting is so simple that his character seems like a member of the family.
Sharib Hashmi is in the character of JK Talpade. They also work for intelligence. Sharib has appeared in many films before but he has done so well in this series that now everyone would like to know about him.
Malayalam actor Neeraj Madhav is amazing in the role of Musa Rahman. Sharad Kelkar impresses. Gulpanag has been seen after a long time and has done well. Every character has put their life into making it better.

You must have seen many films based on the character of a detective, but this is a new story and it has been presented in a new style. You will find every character connected somewhere. You will have to spend about 10 hours to watch it but it will not go in vain.
